Family Life Matters is dedicated to standing as a "voice in the wilderness," championing the biblical definition of family. We strive to counteract the destructive reinterpretation of this sacred institution, resisting worldly ideologies that attempt to redefine it according to today's godless culture. We believe that God calls us to fully embrace the biblical understanding of family because it matters deeply to Him. From the beginning, God established the family as the bedrock of society, predating all other institutions, so that His love and the message of salvation would be passed down through generations.

Our Purpose

Guided by the Holy Spirit, Family Life Matters is initiating a movement to be a strong voice for the family as defined in the Bible. We boldly reject the world's attempt to redefine family according to the ideologies of today's godless culture, pushing back against the shifting philosophies designed to distort its true meaning. We embrace the Word of God, allowing the Creator of family to define its purpose and function. It is through Him that we understand how family is meant to operate. We believe the family unit is central to God's purpose in this world. Ultimately, we believe the purpose of life is to know and glorify God through an authentic relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. This purpose is lived out first within our own families - then extended, in love, to an increasingly broken world that desperately needs Him.

Fundamental Beliefs

Our core values at Family Life Matters are rooted in five fundamental beliefs:

  1. Family Is Designed To Reach People for Christ - We believe the ultimate purpose of family is to know and glorify God and to attain eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, beginning within our own families and then reaching out to a lost humanity that needs to embrace His love and sacrifice.
  2. Marriage Is God’s Design - We believe the institution of marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to model the love of Christ for His people and to serve both the public and private good. Marriage is intended by God to be a thriving, lifelong relationship between a man and a woman enduring through trials, sickness, financial crises and emotional stresses. Therefore, Christians are called to affirm and proclaim God’s marriage design.
  3. Children Are A Sacred Trust - We believe children are a heritage from the Lord. Therefore parents are to value them as a sacred trust of God’s most prized creation. Parents should follow the Biblical model for raising, shaping and preparing them for a life of service to Christ’s Kingdom and to humanity.
  4. The Sanctity of Life - We believe human beings are created by God in His image. Therefore every person, from conception to natural death, possesses immeasurable worth—including preborn children, elderly individuals, those with special needs and others marginalized by society. We are called to defend, protect, and value all human life.
  5. The Creation of Male and Female - We believe there are only two genders. God created humans in His image, intentionally male and female. Sexuality is a glorious gift from God to be offered back to Him either in marriage for procreation, union, and mutual delight or in celibacy for undivided devotion to Christ.
